For Schools & Nonprofits in particular, we guarantee a minimum 5% commission for all purchases made in their +Shop, paid out weekly, net of returns.
Although I have a technology career, my parents were teachers, and I've been married to my wife, Darlene, who’s been a public school teacher for more than 20 years. Together, we raised our four kids in Silicon Valley, affectionately known at one time in its history as the Valley of the Heart’s Delight.
Having always been actively involved in our community, I am deeply committed to seeing Schools & Nonprofits flourish and benefit where people live, learn, work, and play. For this reason, I am beyond excited to launch Shop with Purpose™, the main motivation behind MarketNation’s creation of +Shops.
Retail has traditionally been understood to be based on selection, price, and convenience. +Shop introduces a 4th consideration: who benefits? We believe Shopkeepers and their shopper communities should benefit. In particular, we believe Schools & Nonprofits should benefit, especially those that our shoppers are most passionate about. We want to create an environment where shoppers give Schools & Nonprofits a brighter and more sustainable future that will in turn make our communities stronger and healthier.
